How to tighten the screws on glasses and sunglasses I METRONOME

Hello, I'm OKD from METRONOME-Tokyo Online, the official Japanese online store for METRONOME DESIGN INC., the London-based eyewear/sunglasses brand that sells METRONOME®.
Our shop carries a wide range of unique items, focusing on original brand eyeglasses and sunglasses frames.
This time, I would like to talk about the subject of the title, "Tightening the screws on eyeglasses and sunglasses." Frames with flip-up lenses, especially those in the Trad series, inevitably loosen their screws with increased use.
First, there are two places (four places in total on both sides): the flip-up part of the lens and the temple (the part that rests on the ear). You may have noticed that the opening of the temple has become looser as you wear glasses or sunglasses.
When you get your lenses replaced at an eyeglass store, many stores will also tighten the screws for you. Basically, you can tighten the screws with the appropriate tool to fix loose temples.
I personally have a screw tightening tool for eyeglasses, and I tighten the screws on my Trad Lily glasses as they often loosen. If you have the right tool, even an amateur can easily adjust the screws.
There is also the risk of using a tool that does not fit the screw holes, or forcing the screws in too tightly, which could distort the frame itself. Also, if the frame is thin, it can be quite difficult for an amateur to tighten the screws (and there is a risk of damage).
Therefore, if you have any concerns about the adjustment process, we recommend that you ask an eyeglass store or retailer to make the adjustment. Minor adjustments (such as tightening screws) are unlikely to incur a fee.
Of course, if you have any problems or questions about our frames, please feel free to contact us using the chat in the bottom left of the screen or by emailing info@metronome.co.jp . Please send the frame to our Nakameguro office, and we will check the condition of the frame and let you know whether we can help you and if there will be any costs involved .
You can also bring your bike to an authorized dealer and request adjustments . Please check here for your nearest dealer.
So,
