Introducing "Husk" - a photochromic lens with a "slip-resistant" design

Hello, I'm Yamada from the official Japanese online store of METRONOME DESIGN INC., which sells METRONOME®, an eyeglasses and sunglasses brand founded in London.
This blog introduces the latest information about glasses and sunglasses from our shop, as well as stylish glasses and sunglasses recommended by our staff. This time, we will be focusing on photochromic lenses.
<No need to replace>
Photochromic lenses have become extremely popular among our staff. They work as glasses indoors and become sunglasses outdoors when exposed to sunlight. Clip-on lenses were also popular in 2021, but what will they be like in 2022? The biggest difference between photochromic lenses and clip-on lenses is that they are convenient and don't require the hassle of changing lenses.
These glasses are perfect for outdoor activities where changing glasses every time is a hassle. Metronome's glasses/sunglasses are stylish and their design is a selling point. It's rare to find a product that combines functionality with a stylish design.
You'll understand the difference best when you actually try them out, so if your local eyeglass store offers the option to try on glasses with photochromic lenses, be sure to give them a try.

What is a metronome?
The brand was launched in London in 2017. It quickly received requests for representation from buyers around the world, and quickly gained international recognition. It presents its collections every year in Paris, Milan, New York, and London. Since 2018, it has unofficially participated in the Paris Collection, making it the only Japanese brand to have presented sunglasses at the Paris Collection.
The brand's seemingly eccentric yet calculated designs are unique to a designer who has lived his life in fashion, and are highly regarded for their design and storytelling, both as individual pieces and as total fashion.

The Metronome sunglasses we are introducing this time, Husk, are equipped with photochromic lenses in all frame colors. They are a three-dimensional square type. The front is TV-cut, giving the simple design a three-dimensional look. Each pair is individually carved and assembled by artisans, making them a truly special product.
There are three colors available.
C1: BLACK
C2: MAT BLACK
C3: BROWN DEMI
The size is 51□21-145.
You can carry them in your favorite sunglasses case. Metronome also sells cases for storing glasses and sunglasses. Please also take a look at our sunglasses case page.
You'll feel the difference when you wear them, but they're sturdy and don't slip out of place, giving you a sense of stability. You can also choose from a variety of colors, including the demi-color that was popular in 2021.
We carry a wide variety of eyeglasses and sunglasses, so many people find it difficult to choose. You may also want to consider functional options, such as photochromic lenses. Furthermore, the eyeglasses and sunglasses sold in our shop are designed so that the lenses can be replaced. Please bring your frames to your local eyeglass store or one of our authorized dealers .
Regarding photochromic lenses, polarized lenses are recommended for use in the car, etc. (We will write an article about polarized lenses another time.)
If you are looking for lightweight and slimmer photochromic glasses, we recommend Rush. We also have an article about Rush , so please take a look.
