To stay the same, we must keep changing. Our challenge to the Milan MIDO show continues since 2017. To Milan we go! Why we take on the world's largest trade fair every year.
Hello,
While Japan is still experiencing chilly days, we are currently preparing to head to a place filled with excitement. Some of our staff members are already departing today.
The destination is "MIDO," one of the world's largest eyewear exhibitions, which will be held in Milan, Italy, starting the day after tomorrow.

■ Challenging the World, Since 2017
The first time METRONOME exhibited at MIDO was nine years ago, in 2017.
We wondered how well our designs would be received in a place with different languages and cultures. We started with a small booth, a mix of anxiety and anticipation.
Since then, we have continued to travel to Milan every year. (Even during difficult periods like the COVID-19 pandemic, our passion has never wavered.)
■ Why cross the seas?
In this age where everything is connected through the internet, we still insist on going there in person to experience the "genuine passion" firsthand, and to directly convey the excellence of Japanese technology and design to the world.
By continuously exhibiting, we have built familiar relationships with local buyers, who now greet us with, "Oh! We meet again! How are this year's new products?"
MIDO is the forefront of METRONOME's journey of growth, from a Tokyo brand to a global brand.
Thanks to this, we are now able to do business with over 150 shops and companies worldwide.
Our hope is to push even further from here.
■ Introducing New Products to the World
This time, we will be unveiling the new METRONOME, RESONANCE, and TYBALT brands for the first time in the world.
We are eager to see the reactions of discerning eyewear shop staff and fashionistas from around the globe.
We can't wait!
■ Follow the event on social media!
We plan to provide real-time updates on the exhibition, the streets of Milan, and the latest local trends through our official Instagram stories and other channels.
We would be delighted if you could support us from Japan.
Well then, we're off!
