[2022] Fun and versatile clip-on glasses/sunglasses I Resonance-Trad

Hello, I'm Yamada from METRONOME-Tokyo Online, the official Japanese online store for METRONOME DESIGN INC., which sells METRONOME®, an eyeglasses and sunglasses brand founded in London.

We continue to deliver glasses and sunglasses, mainly from our original brand, to all over Japan from our base in Tokyo.

The unique designs have been praised for being eccentric, unique, stylish, etc. They quickly gained attention overseas and have been gaining recognition in Japan in recent years.

There are many distinctive features not only in terms of design but also in terms of functionality, and the so-called "clip lens" specification in particular is attracting attention from 2021 to 2022. For example, see below.

The brand name is "Resonance" and the product name is "MINX."

These sunglasses have a very distinctive, thick Wellington-style silhouette with a clip that creates a two-bridge effect, inheriting the design of a metronome.

By attaching the clip, you can instantly change it into sunglasses.

The image above shows clip-on lenses, or sunglasses lenses, in place (sunglasses mode). When you remove these clip-on lenses...

As you can see, the frame is fitted with clear lenses, so it can also be used as glasses (you can also change to prescription lenses by replacing the lenses).

Clip-on lenses can also be " changed " as long as the frame type is the same.

For example, the Resonance MINX shown in the photo above comes with green sunglasses clip-on lenses in color C1: Black x Green. You can also attach clip-on lenses of a different frame color to these. For example,

This is the same frame type (MINX) but color number C3: Matte Clear x Blue. It comes with blue clip-on lenses as shown in the photo. (With some exceptions, clip-on lenses are not sold separately for Resonance models.)

This means you can interchange clip-on lenses between frames of the same type! Of course, you can also do the opposite!

As for clip lenses, there are frames with the same specifications under the brand name "Trad."

This is a product called "Lily" under the brand name "Trad." It also uses clip-on lenses, so it can be used as both glasses and sunglasses. It's also possible to "dress up" these glasses as long as they have the same frame shape.

The colors are not just gray, but also blue and yellow, and clip-on lenses are also sold separately for the Trad model . So, you can enjoy a variety of styles by owning one frame and multiple clip-on lenses.

Please be sure to use clip-on lenses that are compatible with your frame . If the shape is different, the size will not fit, which may result in damage.
