Hello, I'm OKD from METRONOME-Tokyo Online, the official Japanese online store of METRONOME DESIGN INC., which sells METRONOME®, an eyewear brand that started in London.

We are now accepting pre-orders for our collaboration product, Infected [Resonance by METRONOME® × KUDAN] !

It was launched in London in 2017. After that, it quickly received requests from buyers around the world to become its distributor, and it quickly spread overseas.

The brand presents its collections every year in Paris, Milan, New York and London.

Since 2018, they have unofficially participated in the Paris Collection, making them the only Japanese brand to have participated in the Paris Collection with sunglasses.

The brand's seemingly eccentric yet calculated designs are unique to a designer who has lived his life in fashion, and are highly regarded for their design and storytelling, both as individual pieces and as total fashion.

Following on from Attitude, we are announcing a new collaboration product.

This time, we will be looking at KUDAN, a mysterious new brand that suddenly appeared on social media in 2017 and became popular among a new generation of influencers with its unique graphic sense.

For this new project, the two companies have appointed Resonance by METRONOME®, an eyewear brand launched in 2021 as a collaboration partner. The two designers have created a product from scratch, resulting in sunglasses that fully incorporate each other's original sensibilities.

This unique fusion of two brands that freely crossover existing cultures and styles creates a striking presence with KUDAN's particular attention to solid thickness and square, large silhouette. KUDAN's graphics and messages scattered throughout the sunglasses make them appear as if they were a canvas, highlighting their originality.

Furthermore, by incorporating the clip lens attachment/detachment gimmick that is Resonance by METRONOME®'s specialty, the glasses have the functionality to be worn in two ways, as sunglasses or clear lenses, and a flawless finish that gives them a three-dimensional volume.

KUDAN has named this model "Infected" to express his anger and antithesis towards this oppressive situation. This collaboration between the two brands will be a source of infection on the streets this winter, with its strong impact and toxic effects.

The standard common colors, black and demi, emphasize the volume and give a luxurious finish. There are also clear bodies exclusive to each brand that express their individual identities, for a total of four colors.
