[Recommended for 2022] Stylish glasses recommended by staff who have just started working

Hello, I'm Iwai from METRONOME-Tokyo Online, the official Japanese online store for METRONOME DESIGN INC., which sells METRONOME®, an eyeglasses and sunglasses brand founded in London.
I think OKD has been updating the staff blog up until now, but I, iwai, have also decided to write a blog regularly. My writing may be poor, but I hope you will read it to the end ^^
This time, as someone who has just joined the company, I would like to introduce some "must-have items" and "recommended glasses."
An item you should have - A shocking story
One item that everyone should have is a book-shaped eyeglass case. As a glasses user myself, I have far more opportunities to handle my glasses than to handle my eyeglass case, so I have never paid much attention to the design of my eyeglass case. However, when I first saw Metronome's Dictionary Book Tray after joining the company, I was quite impressed.
________There are glasses cases this cool...!
This phrase echoed in my head many times. It not only functions as a glasses case, but can also be used to store small items, and it looks stylish when casually placed as a room décor. I thought it was an item that everyone should have in addition to their glasses.
Recommended glasses
Next, I would like to introduce some recommended glasses.
These glasses literally translate to "distorted melancholy," and although they have a shocking vibe, they are very coolly made. If you look at the processing on the surface of the frame, you'll see that it has a rough texture, thanks to the brand's unique processing technique, "fossil processing." I thought that it really expressed "distorted melancholy." When I spoke to CEO Iwamoto, he told me that this was indeed the intention behind the design.
Additionally, the Metronome glasses have a more subdued color scheme, making them easy to wear for people of all ages.
(As an aside, the glasses are large and well-made, so they also have the effect of making your face look smaller when you wear them.)
Iwai learned that even a single pair of glasses had a unique and sophisticated production background, and his attachment to METRONOME DESIGN INC. grew even stronger.
lastly
What did you think? This is the first time I've ever written a blog, so it may be a little difficult to read, but I hope you'll continue to read it with a kind eye.
You can see a list of METRONOME items, including the ``Dictionary Book Tray'' and ``Distortion melancholia'' introduced here .
Thank you for reading to the end.
